Mr. Prat has maintained an extensive career in private and public sector capital markets and financial modelling/risk management. He spent 20 years in the capital markets with Goldman Sachs, HSBC and Deutsche Bank in Toronto, Chicago, NYC and London. He left HSBC in 2008 to be a consultant to the Governor of the Bank of Canada (Mark Carney) during the financial crisis. From 2010 until 2019 Mr. Prat was structuring and investing in mining and technology businesses. In 2019 he joined British Columbia Investment Management in Victoria, BC. to run their absolute return direct investing platform ($5B invested). Mr. Prat is an investor in and board member of E-Circuit Motors.
